Welcome
Scarlett Croce (she/her)
Psychologist (Clinical Registrar)
I am a Registered Psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and am undertaking my clinical registrar program to become a Clinical Psychologist. I have experience working in community and private practice settings and believes the heart of therapy is building safety and trust between client and psychologist. My philosophy is that while I may be the expert in psychology, you are the expert in your life and needs, and that by working together you can create meaningful change in your life.
I have experience working with individuals of all ages and genders to achieve their goals, and I am particularly passionate about working with gender-diverse young people. As an Autistic person, I also have a special interest in supporting young people who identify as neurodivergent.
My strong belief is that therapy should be non-judgemental and person-led – an attitude that’s reflected in my relaxed and flexible approach to therapy, utilising humour and play, particularly for my younger clients who enjoy games and discussing their interests.
I use a strengths-based and trauma-informed approach in my work, incorporating a range of therapeutic modalities, including CBT, DBT, and ACT.
When I’m not working, I enjoy doting on my cats, Toast, Violet, and Tabitha, baking up a storm, watching anime and my favourite YouTubers/streamers, and playing videos games (particularly Pokémon, Final Fantasy, and Kingdom Hearts).
